Requirements
- •5–7 years of experience as a product designer with end-to-end design work ownership.
- •Strong focus on clarity and trust in financial UX, motivated to make complex billing, usage, or subscription information understandable and actionable.
- •Comfortable designing data-heavy and settings-heavy experiences, including usage reporting, thresholds, invoices, and billing settings without overwhelming users.
- •Ability to think in systems (tables, filters, notifications) as well as single screens.
- •Collaborative mindset working closely with product management and engineering, asking good questions, aligning on constraints, and iterating based on feedback and research.
- •Curious and willing to learn about both self-serve and Enterprise billing needs and design for both.
What You'll Do
- •Design how customers understand and verify what they’re charged for, including subscription and usage-based billing UX.
- •Shape billing-aligned usage tracking and reporting such as Usage Insights and billing-related reporting.
- •Design usage notifications and threshold moments to help customers stay in control and avoid surprises.
- •Improve billing settings and invoices, including flows for taxes, currency, credits, and invoice history.
- •Support self-serve and Enterprise billing workflows, ensuring patterns work for both individual subscribers and Enterprise billing.
- •Partner with product and engineering teams to participate in discovery, align on success metrics, and deliver feasible and measurable designs that build trust over time.
