Requirements
- •6-8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related analytical role, ideally at a product-led or self-serve SaaS company.
- •Deep understanding of self-serve business dynamics including churn, contraction, expansion, net new revenue, and funnel stages from visitor to paid conversion.
- •Proficiency in SQL and ability to pull and manipulate data independently.
- •Experience operating in environments with distributed ownership and ability to build relationships across product, marketing, engineering, and finance.
- •Comfortable with ambiguity and building new processes, analyses, and business perspectives.
- •Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations.
- •Good judgment and proactive in surfacing issues and opportunities.
What You'll Do
- •Serve as the dedicated finance partner for Zapier's self-serve business, working across multiple functions to bring a unified financial perspective.
- •Build and own the forecasting, reporting, and analytical infrastructure for self-serve business.
- •Analyze the self-serve funnel end-to-end to identify value leaks and opportunities.
- •Own self-serve unit economics and provide perspective on pricing, packaging, churn reduction, and growth investments.
- •Use SQL and other tools to self-serve data and build analyses that drive decisions.
- •Proactively surface trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- •Partner with product and engineering teams to understand product changes' financial impact and bring a financial lens to product investment decisions.
