Requirements
- •Experience building or leading systems involving identity, access control, audit, and policy with real consequences
- •Experience building strong service ownership models, on-call practices, and quality bars in fast-growing engineering organizations
- •Ability to set technical direction and push back on roadmaps when necessary
- •Experience scaling engineering organizations through structural change and organizational transitions
- •Experience working directly with sales, customer success, and enterprise customers to understand enterprise needs
- •Data-driven approach to measuring delivery, reliability, and quality
- •Skilled mentor, coach, and communicator with experience developing engineers and engineering leaders
- •Experience with AI coding agents and orchestration tools and understanding of AI-native engineering practices
- •Ability to champion efficiency and leverage with AI-first thinking
What You'll Do
- •Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Enterprise Governance in partnership with Product and Design leaders
- •Own the technical point of view on identity, access, audit, and policy and defend it in cross-functional and executive settings
- •Make staffing and investment trade-off decisions across initiatives
- •Own the technical roadmap for systems that let enterprises govern AI acting on their behalf
- •Define safe, accountable AI-native engineering practices for teams
- •Identify and implement AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery velocity and quality
- •Be accountable for the reliability of identity, audit, and admin infrastructure including Tier-1 services
- •Build bench strength and resilience across critical systems
- •Coordinate cross-functional resources during major incidents and set stakeholder expectations
- •Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and enterprise customers to translate needs into engineering roadmap
- •Take ownership on cross-org technical initiatives related to identity and governance
- •Build and develop the enterprise engineering organization
- •Ensure managers and ICs have clear growth paths and feedback
- •Own the output and outcomes of teams and systems they own
