Requirements
- •4+ years of FP&A-specific experience
- •Background in Big 4 Accounting, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting with ownership of operating expense areas
- •Experience building bottoms up and high level financial models
- •Understanding of how modern R&D organizations operate and ability to translate engineering, product, and infrastructure inputs into financial implications
- •Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- •Comfortable driving cross-functional alignment and delivering high-quality work with minimal oversight
What You'll Do
- •Own R&D financial planning and analysis including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for R&D spend
- •Model and manage cloud & infrastructure economics, building and maintaining models explaining cloud costs and usage drivers
- •Analyze and support AI investments by evaluating and tracking AI-related spend and assessing ROI
- •Drive strategic insights for R&D leadership by identifying trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- •Develop scalable, decision-ready models for scenario planning, capacity planning, and long-term investment decisions
- •Support executive and board-level reporting with clear materials on R&D performance and cost dynamics
- •Improve tools, processes, and data quality to enhance forecasting accuracy and automate reporting
Nice to Have
- •Experience writing SQL
- •Experience with AI and automation in financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support
