Requirements
- •8+ years experience in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- •3+ years in a senior engineering role responsible for internal business systems and automation in a modern SaaS or technology company
- •Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, Node.js
- •Experience operating GCP and AWS environments including VPCs, IAM roles, EC2, S3
- •Strong experience with external APIs including REST, GraphQL, OAuth, webhooks, SaaS SDKs and integration frameworks
- •Deep working knowledge of macOS and Linux environments
- •Experience implementing and managing SSO, SAML, SCIM provisioning, identity lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust access models
- •Experience supporting or passing security and compliance audits such as ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR
- •Experience working in remote-first or globally distributed environments
What You'll Do
- •Administer and integrate business-critical SaaS systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, Stripe, Chargebee, Atlassian, GitHub, Notion
- •Design reliable workflows and data synchronization across multiple SaaS platforms
- •Write code and build automation tooling including scripts, services, and integrations using Python, Go, Bash, Node.js
- •Build internal CLI tools for IT and business workflows
- •Develop small internal services integrating the SaaS platform
- •Build event-driven automation pipelines using APIs and webhooks
- •Develop internal bots and ChatOps integrations
- •Design and implement API-driven integrations between business systems
- •Build internal tools to improve operational efficiency such as onboarding automation, access management, data synchronization, dashboards, and ChatOps tools
- •Introduce AI technologies to automate or augment internal operations including AI-powered support assistants, LLM-driven knowledge retrieval, automated ticket triage, AI copilots, and automated operational data analysis
- •Create automated and developer-friendly workflows for employees including onboarding/offboarding pipelines, identity and access provisioning automation, self-service IT automation, and internal developer-friendly APIs
- •Provide IT service management and support for a global remote workforce with root-cause analysis and person-first philosophy
- •Ensure security and compliance engineering including endpoint security, Mobile Device Management, password management, access audits, and adherence to ISO frameworks
Nice to Have
- •Experience with AI-driven automation including LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), AI copilots, semantic search, automated support or ticket triage using AI
- •Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for running internal IT microservices
- •Experience applying SLIs/SLOs to internal IT services to measure uptime of employee experience
